ALLIE RAY CLAYCOMB Allie Ray Claycomb, 85, Irvington, died Aug. 25, 2005, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born June 16, 1920, in Breckinridge County, the son of the late Jim and Beulah Adkisson Claycomb. He was a farmer, retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department, an Army veteran of World War II, a Kentucky Colonel, member of Breckinridge Memorial Hospital Board for 20 years, and a member of Bewleyville United Methodist Church. Mr. Claycomb is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred Claycomb; a son, Anthony Claycomb, Brandenburg; two daughters, Lois Minter, Bowling Green, and Joan Carman, Harned; four grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Claycomb, Guston. Funeral services were held Aug. 28 from Bewleyville United Methodist Church, directed by Alexander Funeral Home.
