RAYMOND H. BENNETT

Raymond H. Bennett, 86, Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Radcliff, died Dec. 8, 2005, at Hope Hospice House, Fort Myers, Fla.

He was a member of Stithton Baptist Church, Vine Grove Masonic Lodge # 603 F&AM, Grand Lodge of Kentucky, American Legion Post #113; and the honorable Kentucky Colonels. He was a World War II United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbaranelle Bennett.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Jeannette C. Bennett; a son and daughter-in-law, R. Terry and Kay Bennett, Vine Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Marlin and Charlie Myers, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a sister, Doris Jean Boyer, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; three brothers, David Lamar Bennett, West Point, Lynn Bennett, Hawesville, and Tevis Levon Bennett, Brandenburg; four grandchildren, Brian Bennett, Tiffany Bennett, Chris Myers and Cory Myers; and two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Macy Bennett.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Rev. Gene B. Waggoner officiating. Burial will be in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home Dec. 13 from 5-8 p.m. and Dec. 14 after 10 a.m.
