MARY JO WEST Mary Jo West, 73, Webster, died Dec. 7, 2005, in Shelbyville. She was born June 1, 1932, in Harrison, Ark., the daughter of Preston Newsom and Bertha Powers Newsom. She attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Walker West. Mrs. West is survived by two sons, Jeffrey King, Lodiburg, and Ronnie Johnston, Brandon, Miss.; two daughters, Theresa Gordon, Finchville, and Terry Sanders, Crittenden; a brother, Billy Newsom, Mississippi; two sisters, Grace Tavares Pee, Mississippi, and Louise Ward, Alabama; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 12 from Walnut Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Corder officiating.
