MICHAEL GLENN DEATON Michael Glenn Deaton, 48, Vine Grove, died Dec. 12, 2005, at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Louisville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Balser Deaton; his parents, Trickie and Bessie Deaton; and a nephew, Daniel Eugene Atha. Mr. Deaton is survived by two daughters, Karen Deaton and Kelly Elliott, both of Elizabethtown; a son, Kevin Deaton, Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren, Austin, Darren and Skyler; two brothers, Trickie Deaton Jr., Ekron, and Ronald Jay Deaton, Louisville; four sisters, Bessie Jean Riley, Pleasant Plain, Ohio, Viola Johnston, Columbus, Ohio, Wanda Marie Atha, Frankfort, and Sonja Darlene Young, Tampa, Fla.; seven nephews and three nieces. Funeral services will be held Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. from Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Chaplain Peggy Holthaus officiating.
