AMY ALEXANDER BASHAM Amy Alexander Basham, 99, Irvington, died Dec. 27, 2005, in Hardinsburg. She was born April 15, 1906, in Meade County, the daughter of George Alexander and Minnie Popham Alexander. She was a homemaker and a member of High Plains United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Owen Basham, and a son, Allie Veo Basham. Mrs. Basham is survived by two daughters, Docia Blevins and Rosie Tarter, both of Louisville; a sister, Louise Boston, Louisville; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 29 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bruington officiating.
