DANIEL JAMES BENNETT Daniel James Bennett, 69, Radcliff, passed away Dec. 27, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Radcliff Chamber of Commerce, Radcliff Optimist Club, Recreation Association of Radcliff and a former Radcliff city councilman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bertie Bennett; three brothers, William “Billy” Bennett, Clarence Bennett and Al Burton Bennett; and two sisters, Helen Sidebottom and Nellie Payne. Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Nancy Bennett, Radcliff; three sons, Sherman Vance Bennett, Elizabethtown, Barry Raymond Bennett and Brian James Bennett, both of Radcliff; two granddaughters, Lindsay Bennett and Lesley Bennett, both of Elizabethtown; and a sister, Dorothy Jones, Radcliff. There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. Dec. 31, at Coffey and Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Leo Craycroft officiating. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Dec. 31 at the funeral home.
