ROBERT LLOYD HERBAUGH

Robert Lloyd Herbaugh, 78, Union Star, died Aug. 26, 2005, at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon, Ind. He was born July 14, 1927, in Meade County, the son of the late Stewart Herbaugh and Elsie Conrad Herbaugh.

He was a school bus driver for the Meade County Board of Education for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Herbaugh.

Mr. Herbaugh is survived by his wife, Mollie Mays Herbaugh; five children, Elsie Rose Poole, Stephensport, Judith Ann Barnes, Thompson, Ohio, Charles William Herbaugh, Battletown, Harold Lloyd Herbaugh, Gladstone, Ill., and Melvin M. Herbaugh, Guston; two sisters, Phyllis Hardin, Battletown, and Flossie Jane Frans, Stephensport; a brother, Stewart Junior Herbaugh, Battletown; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Aug. 29 from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Skaggs officiating. Burial was in Union Star Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Shrader, Larry Severs, Sam Board, Randall Voyles, Ronnie Burrell and Warren Burrell.
