ROBERT EDWARD BARNES Robert Edward Barnes, 89, Radcliff, died Sept. 1, 2005, at Helmwood Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. His memberships include Mill Creek Baptist Church, Radcliff American Legion Post #113, Elizabethtown, and V.F.W. Post 10281, Vine Grove. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Sue Barnes, his parents, Robert and Susie Barnes, and three brothers, Roy Lee, James and Harry Barnes. Mr. Barnes is survived by his daughter, Diane (Michael) Davis, Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Kelly) Keefe and John A. (Shelly) Davis; two great-grandchildren, Mariah and Austin Davis; three sisters, Frances Lynch, Vine Grove, Mary Weigel, California, and Lucille Satterwhite, Orgeon. Funeral services were held Sept. 3, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Dr. James Shaw officiating. Burial was in the Buck Grove Cemetery, Ekron.
