JOHN WILLIAM “BILLY” GREER John William “Billy” Greer, 57, LaGrange, died Sept. 7, 2005, at home. He was a native of Meade County and the plant manager for Liberty School for 33 years. Mr. Greer is survived by his wife, Margie Rison; five sons, Danny Rison, Centerfield, Lynn Rison, LaGrange, Troy Rison, Crestwood, Mitchell Rison, Louisville, and Marvin Rison, Smithfield; two daughters, Loral Rodgers, LaGrange, and Donna Martin, Crestwood; two sisters, Margret Dowell, Guston, and Anna Booker, LaGrange; three brothers, Tom Greer, LaGrange, Robert Greer, Rhodelia and Clarance Greer, Guston; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sept. 10, at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 11, from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Bobby Hall officiating. Burial will be in Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.
