WINFRED ELLSWORTH FRAKES SR. Winfred Ellsworth Frakes Sr., 91, Medco Center, Brandenburg, died July 11, 2005. He was born Dec. 17, 1913, the son of Elmer and Rosa Lee Smith Frakes. He had been a mechanic for Tarter Garage and was a retired farmer. Mr. Frakes is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes Kessinger Frakes; a son, Winfred Frakes Jr., Hardinsburg; and several cousins. Funeral services were held July 19 from the Ekron Full Gospel Church with Rev. Eric Bolin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Roy Kessinger, Windell Kessinger, David Kessinger, Wayne Kessinger, Timmy Kessinger, Joe Redmon, Gaylon Schlatter and Anthony Trent.
