WILLIAM DAVID ALLEN JR. William David Allen Jr., 60, Battletown, died Sept. 14, 2005, at his residence. He was a member of Wolf Creek Fire Dept. for nine years, a member of Local 761 for 35 years and was employed at General Electric. He was preceded in death by his parents, William David Allen Sr. and Dorothy Lindsey Allen; a daughter, Tammy Jean Allen; a brother, Terry Allen; and a brother-in-law, John Triplett. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Phyllis Allen; four children, Lisa (Greg) Phillips, William David (Amy) Allen III, Carolee (David) Dowell and Joshua Dale Allen; two sisters, Arzella Howell and Carol Triplett; a brother, Jerry (Bobbie) Allen; special friends, Billy and Pat Curl; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sept. 17 from the chapel of hager Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Skaggs officiating. Burial was in Rock Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
