RUTH KENDALL LASLEY Ruth Kendall Lasley, 61, Brandenburg, died Sept. 12, 2005, at Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville. She was born May 9, 1944, the daughter of Francis E. Sr., and Mary E. Eldridge Kendall. She was a member of Ekron Baptist Church, where she was a nursery worker for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruby Kendall Miller and Brenda J. Kendall Allen. Mrs. Lasley is survived by her husband, Joseph Dale Lasley; three children, Lorraine Gail Ledford, Ekron, Deborah Lou Conley and Joseph Eugene Lasley, Brandenburg; a brother, Francis E. Kendall Jr., Battletown; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sept. 15, from the Ekron Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Blanc officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Donny Blankenship, Bob Chism, Danny Williams, Frank Claycomb, Jim Cannady, Rote Smith, Ray Dutton, Joey Wright and Bill Wood.
