HERBERT M. BEARD Herbert M. Beard, 77, Louisville, (formerly of Irvington), died Sept. 15, 2005, at Valley View Nursing Home, Taylorsville. He was born June, 5, 1928, the son of the late Herbert and Margaret Coniff Beard. Mr. Beard was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration, was formerly employed with Tube Turns - Louisville Cooperage Company, a graduate of the University of Louisville, attended graduate school at the University of Kentucky and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be Sept. 18, at 2 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington.
