LILLIE MAE PAYNE Lillie Mae Payne, 90, Irvington, died Sept. 25, 2005, in Louisville. She was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Payneville, the daughter of Edgar Wright and Clarissa Durbin Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thad Payne. Mrs. Payne is survived by six daughters, Joyce Beauchamp, Millie Herman and Grace Kirkland, all of Florida, Linda Zay, Louisville, Marilyn Pullem, Crestwood, and Margaret Smith, Irvington; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Georgia Barley, Payneville. Funeral services were held Sept. 29 from Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Burial was in Mt. Merino Cemetery, Irvington, directed by Alexander Funeral Home.
