HAROLD RALEY Harold Raley, 76, Brandenburg, died Oct. 1, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. He was born Feb. 25, 1929, the son of Albert and Dollie Mattingly Raley. He was a member of New Brandenburg Baptist Church, a survivor of cancer, and a retired employee of Olin Chemical Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Thomas Raley, and two sons, Tony Raley and Ron Raley. Mr. Raley is survived by four children, Larry (Joy) Raley, Peggy (Kerry) Troutman, Brandenburg, Carol (Danny) Williams, Ekron, and Joyce (Ron) Dowell, McEwen, Tenn.; a special friend, Brenda Hembrey, Brandenburg; 10 grandchildren, including Kristin and Emily who were his special nurses; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 4 from the New Brandenburg Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Bridge officiating. Burial was in Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
