ROBERTA HARDESTY Roberta Hardesty, 84, died May 13, 2006, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Blanch (Logsdon) Mattingly. Mrs. Hardesty is survived by four children, Rita (Cecil) Greenwell, Union Star, Margaret Pickerrell and Oleta (Ron) McDaniel, Lanesville, Ind., and Charles Lee (Cheryl) Hardesty, Floral City, Fla.; a sister, Katherine Hardesty, Union Star; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren Funeral services were held May 16 from St. Theresa Catholic Church, Rhodelia. Burial followed in the church cemetery, directed by Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dave Kunzman, Keith Mullins, Jay Duggins, Aaron Morgan, Sandy Galloway and Gary Greenwell.
