GILBERT DINK BOARD

Gilbert Dink Board, 91, Brandenburg, died May 16, 2006, at the Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center, Corydon, Ind. He was born Oct. 14, 1914, the son of Albert W. Board Sr. and Mollie Miller Board.

Mr. Board is survived by two stepsons, Darrell Berry, Louisville, and Larry Berry, Ekron; two sisters, Evelyn Darnall, Brandenburg, and Helen Kirtley, Laconia, Ind.; a brother, A.W. Board Jr., Brandenburg; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; 11 nephews; and 10 nieces.

Funeral services were held May 20 from the Ekron Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Blanc officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
