BEATRICE AGENA BROWN Beatrice Agena Brown, 70, Vine Grove, passed away May 28, 2006, at her residence. She received a heart transplant in March of 1992 and was a very active proponent of organ donation. She was a member of Buck Grove Baptist Church, was retired from AAFES, she was an active member and volunteer of Second Chance, KODA, the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation and the NCO/EM Spouses Club. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 47 years, William B. Brown, Vine Grove; a daughter, Brenda (Thomas) Nugent, Vine Grove; two sons, Ben (Nicole) Brown, Columbus, Ohio, and Brett (Angela) Brown, Azores Islands; 10 grandchildren, Joshua Bennett, Lindsey (Daniel Embry) Bennett, Christopher Nugent, Sophia Brown, William Brown, Erin Brown, Tori Brown, Kendra Brown, Joseph Brown and David Brown; three brothers Norman Agena, Howard Agena and Walter Agena, all of Hawaii; and two sisters Janet Fujimura and Betty Dezzani, both of Hawaii. Funeral services were held June 2 from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Dave Campbell officiating with cremation to follow.
