LUCILLE ELIZABETH BYERLEY Lucille Elizabeth Byerley, 81, Altus, Ark., died March 30, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a lunchroom supervisor of Hazelwood Elementary School in California and a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Byerley. Mrs. Byerley is survived by three children, Joe Ann Carter, Muldrow, Okla., Betty Jean Gray, Louisville, and Paul Douglas Byerley, Elizabethtown; two sisters, Joyce Ratliff, Atlanta, Ga., and Murray Ward, Louisville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services were held April 2 from the First Baptist Church in Altus, Ark. There will be a graveside service April 4 at 10 a.m. from Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg. Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
