Harold R. Farrow, 65, Guston, formerly of Louisville, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville after a lengthy battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam and for many years he worked maintenance for Dixie Warehouse Services. He didn’t mind sharing his opinions and he often called in to local radio shows, where many knew him as Meathead. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Farrow; his father, James Farrow; his sister, Shirley Baxter; and his brother, Don Farrow. Mr. Farrow is survived by his wife, Mae Farrow; four daughters, Nina (Jacob) Bennett, Evansville, Ind., Tracy (Nick) Whitlock, Georgetown, Kelli Middleton, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Rebecca Donahoe, Louisville; a son, Joe (Heidi) Shultz Jr., Louisville; a sister, Betty Ward, Louisville; and five grandchildren, Kennedy Whitlock, Maegan Donahoe, J.T. Shultz, Jeffery Alba and Brett Mills. Funeral services will be held April 18 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Deacon John Richard Whelan officiating. Burial will be in the Big Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home April 17, 5-8 p.m., and after 9 a.m. April 18.
