PAUL EUGENE BURT JR. Paul Eugene Burt Jr., 56, Brandenburg, died May 6, 2007, in Louisville. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Eugene Burt Sr. and Peggy Jo Wheeler and a brother Gary Lee Burt. Mr. Burt is survived by his wife, Viola “Vi” Burt, Brandenburg; two daughters, Stephanie (Thomas Jr.) Smith, Radcliff, and Paula (Russell) Gardner, California; four grandchildren, Kimberly Jo Smith, Aerick Thomas Smith, Morgan Russell Gardner and Stephen Paul Gardner; a brother, Bill Burt, Ohio; his stepmother, Helen Burt, Ohio; two stepbrothers, Wendell (Kim) Gilbert and Randy (Charlotte) Gilbert, both of Ohio; and a stepsister, Kathy (Rob) Wear, Ohio. Funeral services will be held May 12 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Brother Darrin Otjen officiating. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, at a later date.
