ARDELLA SUE JAMES Ardella Sue James, 64, formerly of Brandenburg, died May 4, 2007, in Los Angeles, Calif., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Audrey Fuqua; and a brother, Dale Lee Fuqua. Ms. James is survived by a son, Joseph, Hot Springs, Ark.; a daughter, Mary, Laguna Niguel, Calif.; three sisters, Kay Higbee Griffin, Kerrville, Texas, Lois Reesor, Valley Station, and Jolinda Carrithers, Stanton, Calif.; three brothers, Curtis Fuqua, Ontario, Calif., Gary Fuqua, Mojave, Calif., and Lynn Fuqua, Pearcy, Ark.; and several nephews and nieces. Burial will take place in Eastlawn Cemetery, Brandenburg, at which time a private family memorial service will be held. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
