BERNIE PAYTON DURBIN Bernie Payton Durbin Sr., 84, Guston, died May 19, 2007. He was born Feb. 2, 1923, the son of Tom and Minnie Belle Allen Durbin. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Durbin, and a daughter, Shirley Faye Durbin. Mr. Durbin is survived by three children, Bernie Payton Durbin Jr., Brandenburg, Donnie Durbin, Louisville, and Randell Payton Durbin, Guston; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held May 23 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
