BLANCHE JOSEPHINE CRAYCROFT Blanche Josephine Craycroft RN, 95, Somerset, died May 26, 2007, at The Neighborhood, after a short illness. She was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Big Spring. She graduated from St. Anthony School of Nursing, Louisville, and worked as a private duty nurse in Coral Gables, Fla. She moved to Naples, Fla., in 1991. She relocated to the Somerset area in 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Martin and Anna Mae Cosby Craycroft; two brothers, Robert A. Craycroft and Joseph M. Craycroft; and two sisters, Rita Buckner and Mary Sue Craycroft, aka Sister Martina Paul. Burial will be in St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Flaherty. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
