F.M. THOMPSON

F.M. Thompson, 73, Flaherty, died May 31, 2007, at Woodland Terrace Health Care, Elizabethtown.

He was a member of the American Legion #113 and AMVETS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Wilma Thompson, and two sisters, Carolyn Loftin and Joann Shephard.

He is survived by a son, Rick Lee Kraus, Elkhart, Ind; four sisters, Catherine Watts, Vine Grove, Joyce Muessle, Louisville, Regina Hall, Virginia Beach, Va., and Brenda Evon, Traverse City, Mich.; two brothers, Walter Thompson, Orlando, Fla., and Joseph Thompson, Columbia; and several grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be held June 4 at 11 a.m. from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Flaherty, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home June 3, from 5 until 8 p.m. and June 4, after 9 a.m. There will be a prayer service in the evening June 3 at the funeral home.
