DIANE WOOD SCHROOTEN Diane Wood Schrooten, 66, Irvington, died May 26, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1941, the daughter of Hampton Owen and Frances Dreucilla Woosley Wright. She was formerly employed by WMMG and WXBC radio stations and the Breckinridge County Herald News. She was preceded in death by a son, Todd Wood, and her mother, France Dreucilla Wright. Mrs. Schrooten is survived by her husband, Rolf Schrooten, Irvington; a son, Troy Wood, Leitchfield; a stepdaughter, Sandra Douglas, Custer; a granddaughter, Krista Marie Wood, Louisville; her father, Hampton Owen Wright, Louisville; and two brothers, Martin Wright, Atlanta, Ga., and Randy Wright, Louisville. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen with Hager Funeral Home handling the arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.hagerfuneralhome.com.
