MADGE MORGAN BENNETT Madge Morgan Bennett, 93, Irvington, died June 14, 2007, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg. She was born Sept. 26, 1913, in Daviess County, the daughter of Albert and Anna Bishop Morgan. She was a 1931 graduate of Utica High School where she starred on the girls’ basketball team and earned several trophies and awards. She and her husband farmed near Webster. She was a seamstress and a member of Glad Tidings Christian Center, Brandenburg, She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Mack Bennett. Mrs. Bennett is survived by two daughters, Nancy C. (Kenneth) Ray, Leitchfield, and Linda L. (Naaman) Board, Ekron; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 17 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Barnes and Junior Titus officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Central Kentucky.
