BEULAH MAE KENNEDY Beulah Mae Kennedy, 87, Garfield, died July 19, 2007, at Breckinridge Health, INC. She was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Cloverport, the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Staples Goatley. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, fishing, gardening, canning and beating everyone at her favorite game – Yahtzee. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Kennedy Sr.; a son-in-law, Larry Drane; a grandson, Robbie Drane; and 10 brothers and sisters, Victor Goatley, Alice Nelson, Raymond Stanley Goatley, William Otis Goatley, Dessie Thurman, Bessie Coogle, Dorothy Harris, Lewis Goatley, Johnny Goatley and Anna Louise Goatley. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by 11 children, Anna Mae (Ova) Drane, Woodrow, Lou Ella (Eddie) Arnold, Glen Dean, Jerry (Merrilee) Kennedy, Cloverport, Emma Smith, Custer, John (Bernice) Kennedy Jr., McDaniels, Pauline Drane, Woodrow, Curtis (Helen) Kennedy, Denver, Ray (Catherine) Kennedy, Richmond, and Denise (Jerry) Hunt, Leitchfield; 44 grandchildren; 102 great- and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held July 22, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Tucker and Rev. Frank McCallum officiating.
