BRENDA KAYE TYLER Brenda Kaye Tyler, 41, Vine Grove, died July 25, 2007, at University of Louisville Hospital. She grew up in Shelby Township, Mich., and received her bachelor of science in nursing from Harding University, Searcy, Ark. She worked at Children’s Hospital, oncology ward, Detroit, Mich., civil service at Irwin ACH, Fort Riley, Kan., and Ireland ACH, Fort Knox. She also worked in the children’s ministry at church and was a board member of Christian Heritage Community School. She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Hill. Mrs. Tyler is survived by her husband, Barry Tyler; two children, Shiana Tyler and Brandon Tyler, both of Vine Grove; her mother, Kaye Hill, Warren, Mich.; a sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Barbara and Tom McGrath, Battle Creek, Mich.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold G. “Pete” and Lora Tyler, Bald Knob, Ark.; a grandfather, Pete Caswell, Holland, Mich.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held July 28 at 2 p.m. from Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliff, with Dr. Gregg Curtiss and Chap. (ret.) Harold G. Tyler officiating. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, at 10 a.m. July 30, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home July 27, 5-8 p.m., and July 28 after noon.
