MYRTLE L. OWEN Myrtle L. Owen, 86, Radcliff, died July 15, 2007, at Glen Ridge Health Campus, Louisville. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Lebanon Junction, and a former member of Vine Grove Baptist Church. She managed Masden Mobile Home Park in Radcliff for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John Owen. Mrs. Owen is survived by her children, Barbara Owen Tarter and William R. “Bill” Owen, both of Lebanon Junction; a brother, Isaac Masden, Lebanon Junction; two grandchildren, Russell Tarter Jr., Lebanon Junction, and Dianna Tarter Lee, Hopkinsville; and five great-grandchildren, Amber Lee and Alison Lee, Hopkinsville, Jeramie Tarter, Robert Tarter and Tiffany Tarter, all of Lebanon Junction. Funeral services were held July 19 from Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Lebanon Junction, with Chaplain Larry Vance officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 1305 Mt.
