Jesse W. Cubbage, 86, Radcliff, died July 31, 2007, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. Mr. Cubbage was a veteran of World War II. He retired as a mechanic from Snead Chevrolet, Radcliff. His memberships include 50-year member of Barker Masonic Lodge #129 in West Point; and Muldraugh Baptist Church where he was Deacon Emeritus. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son; four brothers; and a sister. Mr. Cubbage is survived by his wife, Corinne Haycraft Cubbage; a daughter, Bev Cubbage, San Francisco, Calif.; a son, Joseph D. (Barbara) Cubbage, Radcliff; a grandson, Doug (Tiffany) Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Kristen; two sisters, Emma Jean Dockery and Kathryn Moyer; and three brothers, William, Norman and Richard Cubbage. Funeral services will be held Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Rev. David Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. (EDT) in the Clarkson Cemetery, Clarkson. Friends may call at the funeral home Aug. 3, 3-8 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Aug. 4.
