JOAN TABOR TRIPLETT Joan Tabor Triplett, 72, formerly of Garfield, died Aug. 2, 2007, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born April 14, 1935, in Breckinridge County, the daughter of the late Orval Ollie and Frances Emmaline Wilson Tabor. She was a homemaker and member of the Valley Station Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Owen Triplett, and daughter, Melissa Dawn Triplett. Mrs. Triplett is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale (Karen) Triplett, Odessa, Fla.; two granddaughters, Candace Oschmann and Carrie Triplett; two great-grandsons, Caleb and Andrew Probus; four sisters, Ann Dobbs Burnett, Louisville, Tommie Faye Bennett, Kirk, Brenda Probus, Garfield, and Vickie Lucas, Hardinsburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. CDT from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the Horsley Cemetery, Locust Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home Aug. 4, 4-8 p.m. CDT and after 10 a.m. Aug. 5. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the MS Foundation.
