MILDRED ROSE KEAL Mildred Rose Keal, 80, died Aug. 4, 2007, in Louisville. She was the former Mildred Rose Yates, a native of Vine Grove. She was born in Rineyville, Ky., to Ida Mae and George S. Pawley and later adopted by Georgia D. and Andrew Yates, of Vine Grove. She was retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital after having served many years as a registered nurse. She was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert R. Keal. Mrs. Keal is survived by three sons, Donald A. (Jeanni) Keal, Ronald M. (Teresa) Keal and R. Thad (Nancy) Keal; six grandchildren; two brothers, John Pawley, Vine Grove, and William Pawley, Mt. Sterling; and a sister, Dorothy Shephard, Thornville, Ohio. Funeral Mass will be held Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home Aug. 6, 5-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. from the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
