MARIA DARLENE DAVIS Maria Darlene Davis, 65, of Battletown, died Aug. 12, 2007, at Medco Center of Brandenburg. She was born Jan. 15, 1942, the daughter of the late William Hershel and Katharine Elizabeth Tabor. She retired from Jewish Hospital in Louisville, where she worked in the information technology services for 37 years. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, William G. “Jerry” Davis; a son, Kevin (Jill) DeLewis, Louisville, a brother, William “Bill” Tabor, Henryville, Ind.; a stepson, Tommy Davis, Brandenburg, and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden, Mt. Washington. Friends may call at the funeral home Aug. 14, 6-9 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Aug. 15. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Central Kentucky.
