DELORES ‘DEE’ JOHNSON Delores “Dee” Johnson, 61, Bardstown, died Aug. 11, 2007, at home. She was born in Shelbyville, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ida Mae Hillard Nation. She had been a homemaker and a longtime Bardstown resident. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russell Burgin; three brothers; and two sisters. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson, Bardstown; four daughters, Jacqueline Murphy, Angela Johnson and Stacy Lynn Nalley, all of Bardstown, and Lisa Burgin, Waco, Texas; two sons, John Burgin, Pleasantville, and Steven Patrick Neal, Bardstown; seven sisters; one brother; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Aug. 16 at 3 p.m. from the Shelbyville Community Church with Bro. Doug Bunch and Sister Marie Lutes officiating. Burial will be Aug. 17 in Little Mount Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home, Bardstown.
