CECELIA CATELLIER SMITH WINEBARGER

Cecelia Catellier Smith Winebarger, 84, Radcliff, died Sept. 1, 2007, at her home.

She was an active member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She actively served on the Bereavement and Art and Environmental Committees. Her most fulfilling volunteer hours were spent cleaning the brass.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Grover Smith of Indianapolis, Ind; a son, Jerry Eugene Winebarger; her husband, Eugene Franklin Winebarger on Aug. 29, 2007; and three brothers, Cyrille Catellier, Louis Catellier and Howard Catellier.

Mrs. Winebarger is survived by two sons, John W. (Shirley) Smith, Radcliff and Richard L. (Debbie) Smith, Madisonville, La.; four daughters, Sharon (Paul) Deininger, Indianapolis, Ind., Judy (Kenneth) Boyd, Brandenburg, Jane M. (Rodney) Alder, Vine Grove, and Jean F. Winebarger, Memphis, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Cathy Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Heather Warrell, Richard Smith Jr., Kenny Boyd Jr., Jason Boyd, Stacie Kenney and Chelsea Alder; six great-grandchildren; her sister Bernice Buchanan, Churubusco, Ind.; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including Gisela Vanderwege who took care of her for 2 ½ years proceeding her death.

The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 5 from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, with Rev. Daniel L. Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 4, 5-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Sept. 5. There will be a prayer service from the funeral home Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
