EVELYN LAMKIN DUGAN Evelyn Lamkin Dugan, 83, died Sept. 10, 2007, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Lee Dolph and Beulah Marie Lamkin. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Elizabeth Lamkin, and a brother, Dolph Lamkin Jr. Mrs. Dugan is survived by her husband, Rice Dugan; six children, Dan (Nancy) Geoghegan, Grand Rapids, Mich., Steve (Amey) Geoghegan, Corbin, Debra Hall, Louisville, Kevin Wayne (Melissa Dawn) Dugan, New Albany, Ind., S. Lee (Vicki) Hoover, Shelbyville, and Laura Melissa Mattingly, Fisherville; a sister, Kathryn (Patch) Shacklette, Brandenburg; a brother, Donald Lamkin, Louisville; four grandchildren, Kurt, Tim, Travis and Cassie Geoghegan; three step-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 11, 3-8 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Sept. 12.
