GLENDA NEVITT Glenda Nevitt, 57, Union Star, died Jan. 18, 2007, in Rhodelia. She was born Oct. 30, 1949, to the late Roy Hinton. She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville and a member of St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia. Mrs. Nevitt is survived by her husband, Mike Nevitt; four children, Tammy R. (Ed) VandenBrink, Caldwell, Idaho, Glen R. (Becky) Durbin, Rhodelia, Michael T. (Sherry) Durbin, Shepherdsville, and Crystal M. (Aaron) Bradford, Elizabethtown; her mother, Betty Hinton, Glendale; three sisters, Debbie Hinton, Glendale, Pamela (David) Harris, Radcliff, and Cindy (Richie) Martell, Rineyville; a brother, Michael (Evelyn) Hinton, Scottsburg, Ind.; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Jan. 23 from St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Daniel Boyd, Chuckie Boyd, Craig Nevitt, Troy Nevitt, Greg Nevitt and Adam Benham. Honorary pallbearers were Lamar Nevitt, Kent Nevitt, Bobby Nevitt and Ricky Sturgeon.
