PEGGY ANN HAWKINS WORLEY Peggy Ann Hawkins Worley, 77, died Sept. 8, 2007, at Hospice of Louisville. She worked at Worley’s Grocery in Brandenburg Station for many years and was a member of New Brandenburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. “Bill” Worley, and a son, Clifton Worley. Mrs. Worley is survived by two sons, William E. “Eddie” Worley Jr., Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and Alton (Sandy) Worley, Brandenburg; three grandchildren, David R. Worley, Jennifer Gibson and A.J. Worley; and two great-grandchildren, Dustin and Brooklyn. Funeral services will be held Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Brandenburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 12, noon to 9 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Sept. 13.
