KENNETH LLOYD ‘BUD’ MATTINGLY Kenneth Lloyd “Bud” Mattingly, 67, Owensboro, died Sept. 15, 2007, in Eddyville. He was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Breckinridge County, the son of the late McKinley and Anna Mae Goins Mattingly. He was employed with Daviess County Board of Education for 25 years as a custodian and was a member of Phillips Chapel, Owensboro. He was preceded in death by twin sisters. Mr. Mattingly is survived by his wife, Sharon; a son, Kenneth Houston Mattingly, Eddyville; a daughter, Kathy Noffsinger, Owensboro; four grandchildren; a brother, Samuel Mattingly, Magnolia; a half-brother, Danny Merideth, Edmondson County; two sisters, Mildred Johnson, Ekron, and Magdalene Dupin, Guston; and a special friend, Erie Anderson, Owensboro. Funeral services will be held Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will be in Horsley Chapel Cemetery, Garfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 17 after 4 p.m., and after 8 a.m. Sept. 18.
