JOSEPH CLINTON ‘JOE’ SEELYE Joseph Clinton “Joe” Seelye, 65, Garrett, died Sept. 14, 2007, at home. He was born March 20, 1942, the son of the late Arthur C. and Martha Louise (Hibbs) Seelye. He was a plant coordinator at Arch Chemical, retiring in 1999 after 34 years. He was an active farmer and member of Buck Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Trevor Shane Seelye, and a brother, Ronnie Earl Seelye. Mr. Seelye is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan (Holt) Seelye; two sons, Troy (Deanne) Seelye and Steven Seelye; three grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac and Julia; a sister, Judy Pack, Tampa, Fla.; a family friend, Gail Wilkins; four sisters-in-law, Suzanne Holt, Lorraine (Richard) Medley, Doris June (Jim) Green, and Judy Seelye; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Funeral services were held Sept. 17 from Buck Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Campbell officiating. Burial was in Buck Grove Cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
