Elizabeth Bernadine Hardin Barr Elizabeth Bernadine Hardin Barr, 91, Union Star, died Sept. 22, 2007, at her son’s residence in Payneville. She was born Dec. 15, 1915, the daughter of Arthur and Lula Schmidt Hardin. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Rhodelia. Mrs. Barr is survived by four sons, Charles L. “Chuck” Barr, Union Star, Eddie “Bucky” Barr and Don “Duck” Barr, both of Concordia, and Gary Eugene (Wilma) Barr, Payneville; a special niece, Betty Crail, Morehead; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sept. 25 from St. Theresa Catholic Church, Rhodelia, with Rev. Robert Abel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
