CHARLOTTE ANN DAVIS ALLGOOD

Charlotte Ann Davis Allgood, 70, Harned, died Sept. 24, 2007, at University Hospital in Louisville. She was born Feb. 17, 1937, in Harned, the daughter of the late Forrest and Grace Miller Davis.

She was a member of Harned United Methodist Church, a homemaker who enjoyed family time, travelling, flower gardening and collecting dolls and figurines.

Mrs. Allgood is survived by her husband of 49 years, Melvin Allgood; a son, Bruce Allgood, Harned; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Steve Grant, Orlando, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Ruby Davis, Harned; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jimmy Claycomb, Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. Central time, from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. J. A. Lawhorn and Rev. Bob Bouser officiating. Burial will be in the Harned Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 26, 3-8 p.m. Central time, and after 8:30 a.m. Central time Sept. 27.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
