JOHN HENRY AMMONS John Henry Ammons, 58, Muldraugh, died Jan. 21, 2007, at home. He was born Feb. 12, 1948, in Meade County, the son of the late Claude B. Ammons and Mary Blanche (Carwile) Davidson Mr. Ammons is survived by his wife, Maggie Ammons; his children, Shannon Carwile, Irvington, Jonathan Ammons, Hardinsburg, David Butler, McDaniels, John Butler, Brandenburg, and Ronnie Butler, Muldraugh; his sisters, Mary Ann DeWitt, Cloverport, and Delma Hoover, Hardinsburg; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with Rev. John M. Bruington officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Stephensport. Friends may call at the funeral home Jan. 23, 6-9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Jan. 24. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home for the Ammons family.
