CHARLES DALTON BRADLEY

Charles Dalton Bradley, 84, New Albany, Ind., died Oct. 3, 2007, at the VA Medical Center in Louisville.

He was a native of Guston, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired as an agent for the Carpenters and Joiners Union Local No. 458 formerly in Jeffersonville, Ind., a Kentucky Colonel, a member of VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693 in New Albany, the Shriners, and a 32nd-degree Mason. He was a life member of the Coon Hunters Club in New Albany and a member of Patteson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Guston.

He was preceded in death by four sisters.

Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Emma (Landrus) Bradley, New Albany, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Kathy, and her husband, Riley Brewer, Paoli, Ind., their three sons and nine grandchildren; a stepson, Bert Lee Hammons, Austin, Ind.; three nephews; and a niece.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. from the Oak Street chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Buck Grove Cemetery near Brandenburg. Friends may call at the funeral home, 1846 East Oak Street, New Albany, Ind., from 2-8 p.m. Oct. 7. A Masonic service will be held Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Patteson Memorial Presbyterian Church, Guston.
