John “Milfred” Manning, 61, died Oct. 3, 2007. He was born March 13, 1946, the son of the late Tish and Bob Manning, Mooleyville. He attended Cross Roads Elementary School and graduated from St. Romuald High School in Hardinsburg. He enlisted in the Air Force for six years and later became a CPA in Minnesota where he lived for many years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and David. Mr. Manning is survived by his wife, Karen, and daughter, Nancy Jane, both of Minnesota; two sisters, Amelia Barr, Payneville, and Janie (Jr.) Titus, Crandall, Ind.; four brothers, Scoot (Mary Jo) and George (Joann), both of Louisville, Rudy (Mary), North Carolina, and Marion (Jean), Payneville; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Burial was in Fort Selling, Minn.
