JAMES R. “BOB” JACKSON James R. “Bob” Jackson, 65, Ekron, formerly of Louisville, died Oct. 2, 2007, at his residence. He was retired from the Airtomic Division of Dover Corporation, was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and riding his Honda Trike. He was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders (GWRRA). He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cecil and Mary Lois Jackson, and a brother, Wayne L. Jackson of Louisville. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Barbara Blissit Jackson; two daughters, Wendy (Naji) Mohamed, Louisville, and Alicia (Dennis) Marstall, Charlotte, N.C.; and a sister, Carolyn McCloud, Brandenburg. Funeral services were held Oct. 5, from the chapel of Owens Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, with Bro. Greg Taylor officiating. Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Central Kentucky or the American Cancer Society.
