Everett Joseph Acra Jr., 56, Radcliff, died Oct. 14, 2007, at his home in Radcliff. He worked for Gold City Towing in Radcliff. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett J. Acra Sr., and a grandson Clifton Robert Nichols. Mr. Acra is survived by his wife, Cathi A. Acra, Radcliff; a son, Ricky Acra, Louisville; a daughter, Melinda (Andy) Givans, Brandenburg; three stepchildren, Jeffrey Box, Louisville, Cindi (Michael) Hartley, Upton, and Brian Box, Radcliff; six grandchildren; his mother, Anna Mae Acra, Elizabethtown; two brothers, George Acra, Elizabethtown, and Timmy Acra, Louisville; and a sister Carol Bright, Louisville. Funeral services will be held Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Pastor Sherman Ramsey officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home Oct. 16, 6-8 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Oct. 17.
