BILLY JOE CONKWRIGHT Billy Joe Conkwright, 48, Irvington, died Oct. 17, 2007, in Corydon, Ind. He was born Sept. 5, 1959, in Elizabethtown, the son of Joe and Lillian Cunningham Conkwright. He was employed with American Commercial Lines, spending 30 years on the river, and was presently a riverboat captain. He attended Wolf Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Edward Cunningham. Mr. Conkwright is survived by a sister, Sandra Dowell, Payneville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. EDT from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Padgett officiating. Burial will be in Parr-Frans Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Oct. 20, 4-9 p.m. EDT, and after 8 a.m. EDT Oct. 21.
