FORREST EUGENE BARR
He was a native of Breckinridge County, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict, a charter member of Incarnation Catholic Church and had retired as a heavy equipment operator foreman in civil service at Fort Knox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Bernardine Barr; a sister, Zilpha Flaherty; and a brother, Lee Barr. Mr. Barr is survived by two children, Darrell E. (Stephanie) Barr Sr. and Kimberly Barr; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Elaine Miller; a brother, Alvin Barr; four grandchildren, Darrell Jr., Allison, Rebecca and Sean; a great-grandchild, Jorden; and a cherished friend of 25 years, Linda Cummings and family. Funeral Mass will be held Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. from Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Burial will be in St. Theresa Church Cemetery, Rhodelia, directed by Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Friends may call at the funeral home Oct. 20, 5-8 p.m., and Oct. 21, 1-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, St. Theresa Church remodeling fund or Incarnation Catholic Church.
